Welcome to my digital garden
Have you ever dreamt of walking through portals and seamlessly exploring different worlds? I haven’t stopped hoping that the internet would align with this vision. In the beginning it felt like time and space was giving way to these virtual pathways of endless possibilities, only throttled by the speed of connection. Now we have all the speed we need but the pathways mostly seem to lead to a few centralized platforms. Along the way we cannot tell whether we’re in a real world, not due to its digitality but its authenticity.
This digital garden is dedicated to authentic experience and reconnection with knowledge and the human elements of cyberspace. A synthesis of reality to one wholeness. I believe that this mode of authentic being is an experience rooted in an implicit feeling rather than the tools we’re using to achieve it. This state is sometimes also called resonance, flow, or alignment. In my experience it can be induced whenever we intently focus and fully engage in a moment, especially together with other humans. Therefore, reading and contemplating on the knowledge worlds I’m attempting to share here is not meant to draw you in and keep your attention, or to keep you engaged by hijacking your emotions. It’s meant to allow you to delve deep by your own volition, or to organically and authentically spark your curiosity. There is no endless scrolling, no advertisements, and not suggestions, just connections. If you wish to know more about something, simply explore where the linked portals take you. You can wonder far and deep but you can always find your way home.
